# Hvorfor kan jeg ikke bruge \bullet uden at få en syntaksfejl?

Den `\bullet` kommandoen er defineret til brug i matematiktilstand, så du skal skrive `$\bullet$` (eller `\(\bullet\)`) for at bruge denne kommando i din tekst. Hvis du bruger `\bullet` uden for matematiktilstand vil den generere fejlen [`Manglende $ indsat`](/latex/da/latex-fejl/25-missing-inserted.md).

Alternativt kan `\textbullet` kommandoen bruges uden for matematiktilstand uden behov for dollartegn eller `\(...\)`, som demonstreret i følgende eksempel:
