# \hbadness

TEX-Engines bieten die Befehle `\hbadness` und `\vbadness` die TEX dabei helfen zu bestimmen, ob es eine bestimmte horizontale oder vertikale Box als underfull oder overfull einstuft und meldet. Beachten Sie, dass diese Befehle das Erscheinungsbild gesetzter Boxen nicht ändern oder beeinflussen; sie bestimmen lediglich, was TEX *Berichten* Ihnen.

* `\hbadness[=]<number>`: `\hbadness` legt einen Schwellenwert für die Badness fest, der verwendet wird, wenn eine horizontale Box als underfull oder overfull eingestuft wird.
