# No se proporcionó \author

Este error aparece si, cuando ha utilizado el **`\maketitle`** comando, pero no ha especificado ningún **`\author`**. A continuación se muestra un ejemplo de esto:

```latex
%En el preámbulo
\title{Sobre la teoría molecular general del calor}
% En el cuerpo de su documento
\maketitle
```

main.tex, línea 5

No se ha indicado \author.

Puede resolver este error incluyendo un autor:

```latex
%En el preámbulo
\title{Sobre la teoría molecular general del calor}
\author{A. Einstein}
% En el cuerpo de su documento
\maketitle
```

Si no desea que se especifique un autor en la portada, puede definir **`\author{...}`** que esté en blanco, como se muestra a continuación

```latex
%En el preámbulo
\title{Sobre la teoría molecular general del calor}
\author{}
% En el cuerpo de su documento
\maketitle
```

Esto seguirá dejando algo de espacio en blanco en la portada, donde normalmente se escribiría el autor. Si desea eliminar este espacio en blanco, consulte el [**`titling`**](http://ctan.org/pkg/titling) paquete.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://overleaf-pro.ayaka.space/latex/es/errores-de-latex/27-no-author-given.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
