# Había etiquetas definidas varias veces

Este error está relacionado con las referencias cruzadas. Aparece cuando usas la misma etiqueta varias veces para distintos objetos, lo que hace que LaTeX se confunda cuando **`\ref{...}`** se usa.

## Causas comunes

**La misma etiqueta usada varias veces:**

El ejemplo más básico de este error es simplemente asignar la misma etiqueta a diferentes objetos, como se muestra a continuación

```latex
\section{Sección 1}
\label{algebra}

\includegraphics{image.jpg}
\label{algebra}
```

Aquí, tanto la imagen (image.jpg) como la sección (Sección 1) han sido etiquetadas como *algebra*, lo que hace que LaTeX se confunda acerca de cuál referenciar cuando **`\ref{algebra}` se usa.** Esto provocará un error como se muestra a continuación

main.tex

Había etiquetas definidas múltiples veces.

Para resolver esto, cambia el nombre de una de las etiquetas por otro.
