# Había referencias no definidas

Este error aparece cuando **`\ref{...}`** se usa y LaTeX no puede encontrar la etiqueta correspondiente. Hay tres maneras en que esto puede suceder.

* Hay un error tipográfico en **`\label{...}`**
* Hay un error tipográfico en **`\ref{...}`**
* Se ha olvidado una etiqueta.

A continuación se muestra un ejemplo

```latex
\section{introduction}\label{introduction}
Un error tipográfico al hacer referencia a la introducción sería \ref{intorduction}.

Otro error es hacer referencia a una etiqueta que nunca se ha definido, como \ref{section1}
```

Cada uno de estos generará un error que se ve así

main.tex, línea 6

Referencia \`intorduction' en la página 1 no definida en la línea de entrada 6.

main.tex, línea 6

Referencia \`section1' en la página 1 no definida en la línea de entrada 8.

main.tex, línea 6

Había referencias indefinidas.

Para evitar esto, siempre debemos asegurarnos de que cuando usemos **`\ref{...}`**, que haya una correspondiente **`\label{...}`**, y que los argumentos de **`\ref{...}`** y **`\label{...}`** sean los mismos.
