# Komennot ja ympäristöt

## Komennot

LaTeX-dokumenttien toimintaa voidaan hallita käyttämällä tiettyjä komentoja. Tyypillinen komentorakenne on seuraava:

\commandname[valinnainen argumentti]{pääargumentti}
```

Huomaa, että kaikki komennot **täytyy** on edellettävä kenoviivalla, ja pääargumentin on oltava {..}-parin sisällä.

Joillakin komennoilla on useampi kuin yksi argumentti, esimerkiksi:

```
\multicolumn{yhdistettyjen sarakkeiden määrä}{tasaus}{sisältö}
```

Jotkin komennot eivät tarvitse {}-paria toimiakseen hyvin, esimerkiksi:

```
\item Teksti on kohteen sisältö
```

Joillakin komennoilla on valinnaisia argumentteja, esimerkiksi:

```
\item[--] Teksti on kohteen sisältö
\\[2ex]
```

## Ympäristöt

Erityinen komentotyyppi on ympäristö. Tyypillinen ympäristörakenne on seuraava:

```
\begin{environmentname}
 sisältö
\end{environmentname}
```

Esimerkiksi:

```latex
\begin{center}
Esimerkkiteksti
\end{center}
```

tai

```latex
\begin{enumerate}
\item Ensimmäinen kohta
\item Toinen kohta
\end{enumerate}
```

Huomaa, että kaikki ympäristöt **täytyy** alkavat komennolla \begin{environmentname} ja päättyvät komennolla \end{environmentname}.

Jotkin ympäristöt ottavat argumentteja ja valinnaisia argumentteja, kuten komennot. Esimerkiksi

```latex
\begin{tabular}[taulukon sijainti]{sarakemäärittelyt}
 taulukon sisältö
\end{tabular}
```
