# EPS- tai PDF-kuvatiedostoni teksti puuttuu, kun latasin käsikirjoitukseni lehden lähetysportaaliin, mutta Overleafissa se näytti aivan hyvältä

Lähetysportaalin teknisen tuen palautteen perusteella tämä johtuu todennäköisesti ladatussa EPS/PDF-tiedostossa olevista useista kerroksista. (Tämä voi tapahtua myös TIFF- ja PNG-tiedostoille.)

Tällaiset ongelmat voidaan yleensä välttää tasoittamalla EPS/PDF-tiedostot ennen niiden lähettämistä käsikirjoitustiedoston mukana. Tämä yhdistää kaikki kuvan kerrokset yhdeksi kerrokseksi ilman alfakanavaa.

Photoshop ja [GIMP](https://www.gimp.org/), sekä jotkin muut kuvankäsittelyohjelmat, sisältävät tällaisia "Tasoita kuva"- tai "Yhdistä kerrokset" -toimintoja. Voit käyttää myös komentorivikomentoja, kuten [ImageMagick](http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/layers/#flatten), tai käyttää `epstopdf` ja `pdftops` edestakaiseen muunnokseen. Esimerkiksi PDF-kuvalle nimeltä "fig1.pdf" suorita:

pdftops -eps fig1.pdf
```

epstopdf fig1.eps
