# Comment ajouter une légende à un tableau ?

Vous pouvez ajouter une légende à un tableau en enveloppant le `tabular` environnement dans un `table` environnement :

```latex
\begin{table}
\caption{Votre légende.}
\label{demo-table}
\begin{tabular}
...
\end{tabular}
\end{table}
```

Le code suivant, qui utilise également le `center` environnement, montre comment ajouter une légende à un tableau. Il utilise également `\label{demo-table}` pour créer une étiquette à utiliser pour faire référence au tableau (via `\ref{demo-table}`):

Notez que le `table` l'environnement permettra également au tableau « flotter » là où LaTeX pense qu'il doit aller. Ici, nous avons appliqué le *spécificateur de placement flottant* `!h` pour placer le tableau « ici », en incitant LaTeX à le placer sous la ligne de texte.
