# Comment commencer à rédiger votre mémoire en LaTeX

Rédiger une thèse ou un mémoire en LaTeX peut être difficile, mais le résultat final en vaut largement la peine : rien n’a aussi belle allure qu’un PDF produit avec LaTeX, et pour les documents volumineux, c’est bien plus simple que de se battre avec la mise en forme et les références croisées dans MS Word. Nous présentons ici un guide pour bien démarrer la rédaction de votre thèse en LaTeX, à l’aide d’un modèle standard préchargé dans Overleaf.

Nous disposons d’un grand nombre de modèles de thèse dans notre [bibliothèque en ligne](https://www.overleaf.com/templates), et vous pouvez téléverser les vôtres si votre université fournit un ensemble de fichiers de modèle LaTeX.

Nous supposerons que vous avez déjà utilisé LaTeX et que vous connaissez donc les commandes standard (voir nos [autres vidéos de tutoriel](https://www.overleaf.com/help/category/video_tutorials) si ce n’est pas le cas), et nous nous concentrerons sur la manière de travailler avec un grand projet réparti sur plusieurs fichiers.
