# Comment écrire des équations sur plusieurs lignes en utilisant l’environnement align

Voici la 17e vidéo d’une série de 21 réalisée par [le Dr Vincent Knight](http://bit.ly/186ai3Z) de l’université de Cardiff. Dans les équations ou dérivations complexes qui s’étendent sur plusieurs lignes, nous pouvons utiliser les `\begin{align}` et `\end{align}` commandes pour afficher correctement les mathématiques alignées. Ici, nous utilisons l’esperluette (`&`) pour garantir que les équations s’alignent toujours comme souhaité. Nous voyons également comment utiliser la `\nonumber` commande pour supprimer le numéro d’équation des étapes intermédiaires de l’équation, si nécessaire.
