# Utiliser \verb pour composer le texte des commandes LaTeX

Parfois, vous pouvez vouloir composer le nom d'une commande LaTeX ; par exemple `\begin{verbatim}`. Vous pouvez utiliser le `\verb` commande pour cela :

```latex
\verb|\begin{verbatim}|
```

`\verb|...|` indique à LaTeX de traiter tout ce qui se trouve entre les caractères barre verticale (`|`) comme verbatim. C'est utile chaque fois que vous souhaitez afficher des commandes LaTeX dans le PDF. Voici un exemple :

```latex
\documentclass{article}
\title{Une marche aléatoire dans \LaTeX}
Équipe Overleaf
\begin{document}
\maketitle
\section{Au commencement...}
Voici un exemple utilisant l'environnement \texttt{verbatim}. Vous encadrez le texte avec \verb|\begin{verbatim}|...\verb|\end{verbatim}| :
\begin{verbatim}
Utilisez \LaTeX pour composer le logo LaTeX.
\end{verbatim}
\end{document}
```

Cet exemple produit le résultat suivant :

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://overleaf-pro.ayaka.space/latex/fr/questions-et-reponses/82-using-verb-to-typeset-the-text-of-latex-commands.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
