# Quali comandi di emacs sono utilizzabili in modalità emacs?

La modalità emacs (che puoi attivare tramite la tua [pagina delle impostazioni dell'account](https://www.overleaf.com/users/edit)) proviene da un progetto open source chiamato codemirror. Si sta evolvendo molto rapidamente, quindi gli mancano alcune cose e non ci sono ancora documenti ufficiali.

Per vedere quali tasti sono supportati, al momento l'unica opzione è guardare la variabile keyMap nel codice sorgente qui: <http://codemirror.net/keymap/emacs.js>

### Ctrl-N, Ctrl-T e Ctrl-W

I browser spesso usano combinazioni di tasti utilizzate da Emacs, tra cui Ctrl-N, Ctrl-T e Ctrl-W, per aprire o chiudere finestre o schede. Questi browser intercettano gli eventi prima che vengano inviati a Overleaf, quindi purtroppo non c'è nulla che possiamo fare per cambiarlo.

A seconda del browser e del sistema operativo, potresti riuscire a risolvere questo problema rimappando le scorciatoie da tastiera del tuo browser. Ad esempio, [esiste un'estensione per FireFox](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/s3menu-wizard/) (e non è l'unica) che ti permetterà di rimappare quelle combinazioni di tasti in modo che non attivino più azioni nel browser.

Vale anche la pena notare che i problemi con le scorciatoie Ctrl non riguardano i browser su Mac OS, che in genere usano il tasto comando per quelle funzioni.
