# \noalign fuori posto

Questo errore compare quando hai usato **`\hline`** in modo errato.

## Cause comuni

**Uso di \hline fuori da una tabella:**

Il **`\hline`** il comando può essere usato solo all'interno di un **`tabular`** ambiente. Non puoi usarlo per inserire linee orizzontali altrove nei documenti, ad esempio nelle pagine del titolo o nelle intestazioni di pagina. Un esempio di questo errore è:

%Nel preambolo
\title{Sulla teoria molecolare generale del calore}
\author{A. Einstein}

% Nel corpo del documento
\maketitle

\hline
```

Questo genererà l'errore mostrato qui sotto

\noalign fuori posto.

\hline ->\noalign {\ifnum 0=\`}\fi \hrule \\@height \arrayrulewidth \futurelet... l.10 \hline Mi aspetto di vedere \noalign solo dopo il \cr di un allineamento. Procedi e ignorerò questo caso.

Quando vuoi includere linee orizzontali fuori da un ambiente tabular, devi usare **`\hrule`**.

**Uso scorretto di \hline in una tabella:**

Quando usi **`\hline`** in una tabella, ogni istanza tranne la prima deve essere preceduta da **`\\`**. Un esempio di questo errore è mostrato qui sotto

```latex
\begin{tabular}{|l|l|} \hline
    Nome: & Albert \\ \hline
    Secondo nome: & Einstein \hline
\end{tabular}
```

Il primo **`\hline`** il comando qui va bene, poiché il primo **`\hline`** in una tabella non deve essere preceduto da **`\\`**. Il problema è il nostro ultimo **`\hline`** che invece deve essere preceduto da **`\\`**. Il modo corretto di scrivere questa tabella è:

```latex
\begin{tabular}{|l|l|} \hline
    Nome: & Albert \\ \hline
    Secondo nome: & Einstein \\ \hline
\end{tabular}
```
