# Zijn mijn Overleaf-projecten privé?

Ja, elk project dat u maakt, is automatisch privé. Andere Overleaf-gebruikers kunnen uw projecten in Overleaf niet zien, tenzij u ze bewust met anderen deelt via het menu Delen.

Wanneer [linkdeling](/latex/nl/kennisbank/130-sharing-a-project.md) is ingeschakeld, maakt Overleaf een unieke token aan die alleen wordt gebruikt voor de link naar dat project. Het is bijna onmogelijk om de token te raden, en daarom is de link naar uw project alleen bij u bekend.

Als u linkdeling inschakelt, houd er dan rekening mee dat als u de link naar uw project op een website of ergens openbaar plaatst, iedereen de link kan gebruiken en dat de website waarop uw link is geplaatst zelfs in zoekmachineresultaten kan worden opgenomen.
