# Er waren meerdere keren gedefinieerde labels

Deze fout heeft betrekking op kruisverwijzingen. Ze treedt op wanneer u hetzelfde label meerdere keren voor verschillende objecten gebruikt, waardoor LaTeX in de war raakt wanneer **`\ref{...}`** wordt gebruikt.

## Veelvoorkomende oorzaken

**Zelfde label meerdere keren gebruikt:**

Het meest basale voorbeeld van zo'n fout is simpelweg hetzelfde label aan verschillende objecten geven, zoals hieronder wordt getoond

\section{Section 1}
\label{algebra}

\includegraphics{image.jpg}
\label{algebra}
```

Hier zijn zowel de afbeelding (image.jpg) als de sectie (Section 1) gelabeld als *algebra*, waardoor LaTeX in de war raakt over welke ernaar verwezen moet worden wanneer **`\ref{algebra}` wordt gebruikt.** Dit zal leiden tot een fout zoals hieronder getoond

main.tex

Er waren meervoudig gedefinieerde labels.

Om dit op te lossen, hernoem een van de labels naar iets anders.
