# Hoe voeg ik een bijschrift toe aan een tabel?

U kunt een onderschrift aan een tabel toevoegen door de `tabular` omgeving in een `table` omgeving:

\caption{Uw onderschrift.}

\end{tabular}
\end{table}
```

De volgende code, die ook de `center` omgeving gebruikt, laat zien hoe u een tabelonderschrift toevoegt. Er wordt ook `\label{demo-table}` gebruikt om een label te maken voor gebruik bij het verwijzen naar de tabel (via `\ref{demo-table}`):

Merk op dat de `table` omgeving zorgt er ook voor dat de tabel kan "zweven" naar waar LaTeX denkt dat die moet komen. Hier hebben we de *floatplaatsingsspecifier* `!h` gebruikt om de tabel "hier" te plaatsen, waardoor LaTeX wordt aangemoedigd deze onder de tekstregel te plaatsen.
