# Hoe maak ik een inspringing (tab) voor een alinea in LaTeX?

LaTeX zal automatisch de eerste regel van elke alinea inspringen die niet direct op een sectiekop volgt. Als je een inspringing wilt verwijderen, kun je de `\noindent` commando:

```latex
\section{Introduction}
Dit is de eerste alinea.

\noindent Dit is de tweede alinea.
```

Als je de eerste alinea na een sectiekop wilt laten inspringen, kun je de [`indentfirst` pakket](https://ctan.org/pkg/indentfirst?lang=en) in je preambule opnemen:

```latex
\usepackage{indentfirst}
```

De mate waarin de eerste regel van een alinea inspringt, wordt bepaald door een parametercommando genaamd `\parindent`.
