# Hoe je begint met het schrijven van je scriptie in LaTeX

Een scriptie of proefschrift schrijven in LaTeX kan uitdagend zijn, maar het eindresultaat is de moeite waard—niets ziet er zo goed uit als een PDF die met LaTeX is gegenereerd, en voor grote documenten is het veel makkelijker dan worstelen met opmaak en kruisverwijzingen in MS Word. Hier bieden we een gids om te beginnen met het schrijven van je scriptie in LaTeX, met behulp van een standaardtemplate die vooraf is geladen in Overleaf.

We hebben een groot aantal thesistemplates in onze [online bibliotheek](https://www.overleaf.com/templates), en je kunt je eigen template uploaden als je universiteit een set LaTeX-templatebestanden verstrekt.

We gaan ervan uit dat je LaTeX al eerder hebt gebruikt en dus bekend bent met de standaardcommando's (zie onze [andere instructievideo's](https://www.overleaf.com/help/category/video_tutorials) als dat niet zo is), en richten ons op hoe je met een groot project werkt dat over meerdere bestanden is opgesplitst.
