# Ao usar o editor Vim, não consigo voltar ao modo normal a partir do modo de inserção

Desde [o lançamento do suporte para os modos Vim e Emacs](https://www.overleaf.com/blog/19) no editor do Overleaf, surgiu um potencial problema com os utilizadores que têm instalada a extensão do Chrome "Vimium". Se estiver a utilizar essa extensão, poderá constatar que, após inserir texto, fica impossibilitado de voltar ao modo normal — os comandos padrão ESC ou CTRL-\[ podem não funcionar. Descobrimos que, ao desativar esta extensão, o editor Vim do Overleaf funciona como esperado.
