# Havia referências indefinidas

Este erro aparece quando **`\ref{...}`** é usado e o LaTeX não consegue encontrar o rótulo correspondente. Há três formas pelas quais isso pode acontecer.

* Há um erro de digitação em **`\label{...}`**
* Há um erro de digitação em **`\ref{...}`**
* Um rótulo foi esquecido.

Um exemplo é mostrado abaixo

```latex
\section{introduction}\label{introduction}
Um erro de digitação ao referenciar a introdução seria \ref{intorduction}.

Outro erro é referenciar um rótulo que nunca foi definido, como \ref{section1}
```

Cada um deles gerará um erro que se parece com

main.tex, linha 6

Referência \`intorduction' na página 1 indefinida na linha de entrada 6.

main.tex, linha 6

Referência \`section1' na página 1 indefinida na linha de entrada 8.

main.tex, linha 6

Houve referências indefinidas.

Para evitar isso, devemos sempre garantir que, quando usamos **`\ref{...}`**, que haja um correspondente **`\label{...}`**, e que os argumentos de **`\ref{...}`** e **`\label{...}`** sejam os mesmos.
