# Como escrever equações em várias linhas usando o ambiente align

Este é o 17.º vídeo de uma série de 21 por [Dr. Vincent Knight](http://bit.ly/186ai3Z) da Universidade de Cardiff. Em equações grandes ou derivações que ocupam várias linhas, podemos usar os `\begin{align}` e `\end{align}` comandos para exibir corretamente a matemática alinhada. Aqui usamos o e comercial (`&`) comando para garantir que as equações estejam sempre alinhadas como desejado. Também vemos como usar o `\nonumber` comando para remover o número da equação dos passos intermédios na equação, se necessário.
