# I’m looking for an example of XYZ in LaTeX, can you help?

We'll certainly try! We've preloaded a range of [LaTeX examples and templates](https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates) into Overleaf, and there are a number of excellent community sites with a large selection of examples.

We also recommend searching the [TeXample](http://www.texample.net/) and [LaTeX Templates](http://www.latextemplates.com/) sites for a close match to what you're after - you can open the example or template you find there straight into Overleaf to edit as needed.

The [team who created Overleaf](https://www.overleaf.com/about) also have a lot of LaTeX expertise between them, and so if you have a specific query please [get in touch](https://www.overleaf.com/contact) and we'll do what we can to help.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://overleaf-pro.ayaka.space/latex/questions-and-answers/64-i-m-looking-for-an-example-of-xyz-in-latex-can-you-help.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
