# Текст в моём EPS- или PDF-файле изображения пропадает, когда я загружаю рукопись в портал подачи журнала, но в Overleaf всё выглядело нормально

Судя по отзывам службы технической поддержки портала подачи материалов, это, скорее всего, вызвано наличием нескольких слоёв в загруженном файле EPS/PDF. (Это может происходить и с файлами TIFF и PNG.)

Таких проблем обычно можно избежать, сведя EPS/PDF-файлы в один слой перед их отправкой вместе с файлом рукописи. Это объединит все слои изображения в один слой без альфа-канала.

Photoshop и [GIMP](https://www.gimp.org/), а также некоторые другие программы для обработки изображений содержат такие функции, как «Flatten image» или «Merge layer». Вы также можете использовать команды в командной строке, такие как [ImageMagick](http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/layers/#flatten), или использовать `epstopdf` и `pdftops` для выполнения двустороннего преобразования. Например, для PDF-изображения с именем «fig1.pdf» выполните:

pdftops -eps fig1.pdf
```
