# BibTeX не работает; мои \\\cite отображаются в виде знаков вопроса (?)

Это может происходить по нескольким причинам:

* Использовали ли вы какие-либо `\cite` команды в вашем документе? В список библиографии попадут только записи bib, которые были `\cite` упомянуты в основном тексте.
* Указали ли вы правильное `.bib` имя файла (без расширений) для `\bibliography{...}`? Регистр букв важен, так что следите за опечатками.
* Указали ли вы стиль библиографии с помощью `\bibliographystyle{...}`? Если этот стиль не [является стандартным, поставляемым с TeX Live](/latex/ru/voprosy-i-otvety/84-which-bibtex-styles-are-available-on-overleaf.md), вам нужно загрузить `.bst` этот файл в ваш проект.
* В вашем `.bib` файле может быть синтаксическая ошибка, из-за которой bibtex не может корректно его разобрать. Если это так, в предупреждающих сообщениях должна быть информация об этом; исправьте ошибки соответствующим образом, и bibtex снова сможет его прочитать.
* Ваш `.bib` файл или основной `.tex` файл находится в папке, в названии которой есть пробелы или необычные символы? Основной `.tex` файл всегда должен находиться на верхнем уровне, а файлы в папках с пробелами или необычными символами иногда не удаётся найти в процессе компиляции.
* Если вы сделали всё вышеперечисленное, а ссылки по-прежнему не работают: это также может случаться в некоторых крайних случаях из-за того, как строки форматируются в файле .log и как инструмент сборки читает файл. Добавление `\typeout{}` непосредственно перед вашим `\bibliography{...}` может помочь.
