# \hbadness

TEX-motorerna tillhandahåller kommandona `\hbadness` och `\vbadness` som används för att hjälpa TEX att avgöra om det klassificerar och rapporterar en viss horisontell eller vertikal box som underfull eller överfull. Observera att dessa kommandon inte ändrar eller påverkar utseendet hos sättningslådor, de avgör bara vad TEX *rapporter* meddelar dig.

* `\hbadness[=]<number>`: `\hbadness` anger ett tröskelvärde för badness som ska användas vid klassificering av en horisontell box som underfull eller överfull.
* `\vbadness[=]<number>`: `\vbadness` anger ett tröskelvärde för badness som ska användas vid klassificering av en vertikal box som underfull eller överfull.

Användningsexempel:

* `\vbadness=1000` eller `\vbadness 1000` (tecknet ”=” är valfritt)
* `\hbadness=500` eller `\hbadness 500` (tecknet ”=” är valfritt)

Observera att TEX också använder två ytterligare parametrar när det avgör om en `\hbox` eller `\vbox` ska rapporteras som *överfull*:
