# Текст у моєму файлі зображення EPS або PDF зник, коли я завантажив рукопис до порталу подання журналу, але в Overleaf усе виглядало нормально

На підставі відгуків від технічної підтримки порталу подання, найімовірніше, це спричинено кількома шарами у завантаженому файлі EPS/PDF. (Таке також може траплятися з файлами TIFF і PNG.)

Зазвичай таких проблем можна уникнути, якщо перед поданням разом із файлом рукопису звести файли EPS/PDF у один шар. Це об’єднає всі шари зображення в один шар без альфа-каналу.

Photoshop та [GIMP](https://www.gimp.org/), а також деякі інші програми для обробки зображень, містять такі функції «Flatten image» або «Merge layer». Також можна використовувати командного рядка, такі як [ImageMagick](http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/layers/#flatten), або скористатися `epstopdf` та `pdftops` для виконання конвертації туди й назад.
