# Як набирати текст кирилицею (наприклад, російською)?

## Вступ

Для набору кириличного тексту в Overleaf вам потрібно завантажити кілька додаткових пакетів — точні пакети залежатимуть від компілятора, який ви використовуєте: pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, LuaLaTeX або LaTeX (тобто DVI to PDF).

## Набір кирилиці з pdfLaTeX або LaTeX

Якщо ви використовуєте pdfLaTeX або LaTeX як компілятор, тоді підійде таке:

## Набір кирилиці з XeLaTeX або LuaLaTeX

Компілятори XeLaTeX і LuaLaTeX мають вбудовану підтримку тексту в кодуванні UTF-8, тож немає потреби використовувати `\inputenc` пакета (`\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}`). Від 2018 року немає потреби використовувати `\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}` також із pdfLaTeX — див. [випуск LaTeX News за квітень 2018 року](https://www.latex-project.org/news/2018/04/10/issue28-of-latex2e-news-released/) та допис у блозі Overleaf [*Оновлення TeX Live — вересень 2019*](https://www.overleaf.com/blog/tex-live-upgrade-september-2019).

Для XeLaTeX або LuaLaTeX [`polyglossia` accents](https://ctan.org/pkg/polyglossia?lang=en) може бути корисним, особливо якщо ви хочете вибрати власний шрифт.
