# \pdfoutput

`\pdfoutput[=]` *số nguyên*

* “`[=]`” có nghĩa là dấu bằng là tùy chọn.

Tính năng `\pdfoutput` lệnh được dùng để chỉ định liệu tệp do pdfTeX tạo ra sẽ ở định dạng DVI hay PDF. Một giá trị dương của *số nguyên* có nghĩa là đầu ra ở định dạng PDF, ngược lại đầu ra ở định dạng DVI.

**Ví dụ sử dụng**

* `\pdfoutput=1` đặt định dạng đầu ra thành PDF
* `\pdfoutput=0` đặt định dạng đầu ra thành DVI

#### DVI: vẫn hữu ích

DVI là viết tắt của *Độc lập thiết bị* và là định dạng tệp gốc [định dạng đầu ra của các bộ máy TeX](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Device_independent_file_format).
