# TeXLive

[TeX Live](https://www.tug.org/texlive/) är en fri programvarudistribution som ges ut av [TeX Users Group](https://www.tug.org/) årligen. Den tillhandahåller LaTeX-paket, typsnitt, TeX-motorer och ett flertal programverktyg som krävs för att stödja LaTeX-baserad sättning på alla standardoperativsystem.

TeX Live är en viktig del av Overleaf eftersom våra servrar använder det för att kompilera din LaTeX-kod och generera PDF-förhandsvisningen i realtid. Det ger också Overleafs användare enkel åtkomst till över 5 000 LaTeX-paket som ingår i varje TeX Live-utgåva.

Du är inte begränsad till att använda den senaste versionen av TeX Live för att kompilera dina projekt, eftersom Overleafs servrar ger åtkomst till tidigare TeX Live-utgåvor.
